Activity Book Completed in March 2013
Ian breezed through this book - Kumon's My Book of Rhyming Words & Long Vowels. It consisted mostly of tracing out the words, and hence, it did not pose much difficulty to him. The words in the book also reinforced what he learned in the phonics class.
He enjoyed doing the worksheets in this book more than the abacus homework. Sometimes, he would do several exercises at one go without our prompting. Of course, the certificate upon completion was a huge motivation for him as well!
