Thanks to a deal site, I purchased a $40 voucher to dine at Chatterbox, with only $12. We finally had an excuse to try out the famous chicken rice.
The presentation was excellent, but we had to wait a bit for the food to be served. The chili sauce was a little on the bitter side instead of the usual sourish types that we could find in coffeeshops and hawkers.
Verdict: Hubby and I both agreed that we still preferred the hawker-styled chicken rice. But it was a good experience to dine there.
We ordered 2 plates of chicken rice, and the total bill after deducting the $40 credit and adding GST and service charge, turned out to be $23+.
