Happy 3rd Birthday To Ian

This morning, Ian went to school as usual and had the last Speech & Drama class for the term.  Hubby took the afternoon off to spend some time with our boy, so I picked both of them up in the afternoon.  We ordered takeaway MacDonald's lunch, and Ian got to enjoy his favourite fries in the car as we drove to the Apple service centre to get a replacement for Hubby's phone as the warranty was expiring at the end of the month.  On the way back, we collected Ian's birthday cake and went home to let Ian get some sleep.  Unfortunately, the short trip had made him overly excited to sleep.

When we went over my Mom's place for dinner, Ian had a surprised party.  My sister-in-law bought a birthday cake for him as well as a toy car which he loved.  So, he had a small celebration with his 2 favourite cousins (whom he would love to bring home if he could) singing a birthday song for him.

Back at home, we had our own small and quiet celebration as well...so that the cake would serve as a supper for us.

Some quick stats for our 3 year old:
Weight: 15.5kg (estimated)
Height: 100cm

He has recently began to like singing, and has been singing songs that he picked up from school very frequently.  He has also picked out a soft-toy dog (a present from Hubby to me) as his pet dog, which he always carried around at home, and even to bed.  Apart from the dog, he has chosen soft-toy pets for us as well - a teddy bear for his Daddy, and a "Knuffle Bunny" (one of his top favourite books at the moment) for me.  And, he always forces them on us even if we do not want it!
