Perth at sunrise...5am maybe? |
As we had plans to savour the award-winning pies from Miami Bakehouse along the way to Margaret River, there was no breakfast to prepare and so I had some time to enjoy the views on the balcony.

After checking out of the apartment, we made an impromptu decision to drop by Strickland Road to see the Jacaranda trees in bloom. It appeared that we had missed it in full bloom, but still, it was an enchanting sight to behold.
We took a few photos and embarked on our road trip to Margaret River. The children were beyond excitement because I had told them that we were going to stay in a farm in MR. Our first pit stop was the famous Miami Bakehouse along Forrest Highway, about an hour away from Perth. Because on their website it had said that they were "WA's most awarded bakery", therefore, this was a must-stop.

We ordered pies, hot chocolate and coffee, and indeed, they were worthy of a visit. And the bonus was a convenient location right off the highway, on the way to MR.
