As of today, our baby has reached full-term, at week 37. His organs are well-developed by now and he is ready to see the world. Boy, when do you want to come out?
We are still cracking our heads to think of a good, auspicious name for him. We have shortlisted 2 names - Yi4 An1, and Jun4 An1 - after calculating the strokes using the method in the book "The Book of Auspicious Chinese Names". The strokes are used for calculating the Tian1 (Heavenly Character - Fate that comes with birth), Ren2 (Personal Char - Overall fate), Di4 (Earthly Char - R/S with people around you), Zong3 (Total Char - Life after 35 yrs old), and Wai4 (External Char- R/S with individuals at large). This book also mentioned how to check the five elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) using the calculated strokes.
We have several other choices like Yu3 Jie2, Hao4 Lun2, etc. but they have been stroke off the list after our calculations. Are we getting too superstitious? Heh... Anything for our child!
Gosh, I hope our work is not so busy so that we can come home earlier and do more homework! Time is running out... :(
