TGIF!

Today is not an ordinary Friday. Today is Good Friday! Yippie! Finally, a break from work with a 'super' long weekend! Have been a bit stressed over work recently due to tight deadlines and pressure from some users, but thank God that I am finally starting to handover my work from next week onwards. Although, there are still deadlines to meet unless I deliver in this month...Hopefully, I am not passing too much stress onto our baby.

We met up with hubby's friend at the Expo this morning to get some hand-me-down clothes. (Mr A, thanks for the bagful and being a 'follower' of my blog!) There is a BabyCare Festival over this weekend, but honestly, it was not so fantastic. However, the Babysafe and Mustela products were quite worth buying.

Let's take a look at what we have gotten home....

Freebies!
Both hubby and I got a goodie bag each, so we kind of gotten back the carpark fees! The pic shows what is in the goodie bag: First Teeth toothpaste sample, a growth chart, KKH pens, Anmum powder milk sample & UHT milk packet, a voucher for eyebrow embroidery, & a fan. While we were walking around, a kind soul passed us the pair of mittens and booties because she got it free from elsewhere too.

These are not freebies!
Gotten the Mustela baby trial-size pack at $6, and another tube of the barrier cream at $10.50. The barrier cream is so much cheaper than the small tube that we bought from First Few Years last weekend, which is only half the size. I am still unable to tell the difference between the 2! Also gotten the Babysafe oval pillowcase which is a steal at $6 (Disney Pooh prints), the hands-free kit for pumping from Mumsfairy ($27.90), and the GD book "How Smart Is Your Baby?" ($38). Have pondered whether to get the GD kits but at $900+, it was not an easy decision. They were only giving the books free at the fair (totalled up for about $60+), so the savings wasn't attractive enough for us to commit on the spot.

Chanced upon this cute laundry hanger at Ikea, where we had lunch! A blue octopus! It will be handy when we start to wash our little boy's laundry!

Last splurge of the day - a Philips mini stereo set from Courts, at $99!!! Hubby finally decided to go for it since it's so cheap. Now, I can finally listen to the relaxation CD at bedtime. In near future, our baby can listen to his Mozarts too.

Gift...
The beansprout pillows are a gift from an old friend of my mom. These pillows are normally used to put over the baby's chest to give him a sense of security.
