A Busy, Busy Weekend

Our busy weekend began with shopping at Isetan on Friday night. The nursery department was having some sales, so we bought a few items that we needed - a waterproof bib, new pacifiers for 6-12 months, 2 Pigeon PES bottles, and 2 rompers at $3 each. We will need to pass a pacifier, the bottles and rompers to Ian's nanny. The new pacifiers suited Ian better, and we like the new bottles! It does not leak like the Gerber ones. We should have bought this long ago!

On Saturday, we took Ian to join a trial class at The Little Gym at Forum. Ian enjoyed most of the activities, being a playful baby.

We collected the Happybellies organic brown rice cereal from a fellow forumer. This is supposedly the only cereal that contains probiotics and DHA. We let Ian try it on Sunday morning and he gave us a "yucks!" look as he swallowed. However, I think he is getting accustomed to the taste because he ate it normally today.

After the class, we headed down to Centrepoint Mothercare to collect the Nestle goodie bag. It contains a 400g tin of NAN 2 powder, a cereal dispenser, and 2 packs of cereal.

We did a quick shopping for my work pants at Taka and managed to buy 2 pairs before joining a friend for dinner. On the way to the carpark we bought 2 pieces of cakes from Cedele. It was expensive, costing about $14 for that. However, we were a little disappointed in the cakes for that price.

On Sunday, after we gave Ian his cereal, we started to give him a little water using a cup with sprout. He still does not like the taste of plain water.

In the afternoon, we brought Ian to swim again. He loves it! He splashed water all over and wet my shirt too. Hopefully, this exercise will strengthen his muscles. The lady at Hwaxia commented he is a jovial boy because he likes to smile.
